All Natural Meditation Cushions

At last a cushion that is soft yet supportive. My clients have likened it to sitting on air. Filled with luscious Kapok that is a wonderful lightweight sustainable alternative to chemically treated cotton and synthetics. Naturally organic Kapok is also malleable and able to be shaped to your body. Your pillow will return to its shape simply by being puffed up. Kapok is the most environmentally friendly, economical, fair trade natural fiber fill for pillows.

The products made in this project are a collaboration with the villagers in Timor who wild harvest then hand clean the kapok and the town based sewers. Naturally organic kapok is grown and wild-crafted in Timor. It is moisture resistant and hypoallergenic and they make the perfect meditation seat plus they are just the right size for most couches and chairs. Slight compaction will occur over time BUT these pillows will 'fluff' up when placed in direct sunlight. Fortnightly is preferable but not critical.

Uncovered - 50x50x15cm filled with appx 1350g freshly cleaned raw kapok fiber.
